Gwinnett County Government seeks a Contract Inspections Associate III to oversee inspection and construction oversight for diverse projects, including water and wastewater facilities, pipelines, and pump stations. You will review design documents and resolve related issues while coordinating with operations, consultants, and contractors.

The position requires an Associate’s Degree in a related field, four years of construction experience, and credentials such as flagging and work zone safety

Qualificações

• Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Four years of construction experience.
• Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.

Responsabilidades

• Arrange inspections and determine the appropriate corrective action based upon the inspection results
• Prepare daily inspection reports
• Review construction reports and cost estimates
• Respond to technical questions from contractors and inspect the contractor’s work for contract compliance
• Review projects to ensure they meet Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources’ quality requirements
