Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS Pro are preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills, reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction.
• Exposure to hydrologic and hydraulic software (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM) is a plus.
• Must be a college student pursuing Civil or Environmental Engineering or another technical discipline.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Previous internship or co-op experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering and scientific staff with data processing and management using GIS to support hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
• Prepare spreadsheets, graphs, and figures for design reports.
• Prepare design and construction plans, specifications, quantity take-offs, and construction estimates.
• Assist with field work for data collection, site inspections, and observations.
• Build surface models in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Support Project Managers with various tasks to advance and track project progress.
