Job summary

Stillpoint AEC in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Civil Engineer with a focus on water resources and stormwater management. The role includes hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, drainage design, and project leadership on infrastructure projects.

You will develop models, prepare reports, and coordinate with municipalities and agencies. A PE license is preferred; EIT candidates will be considered. Onsite work in the Dallas area with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
• Water resources, stormwater, drainage, or H&H modeling experience preferred
• Experience with stormwater management, drainage design, H&H modeling, floodplain analysis, or watershed engineering
• PE licensure preferred; EIT candidates considered
• Experience with listed software platforms preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and support water resources and stormwater engineering projects including drainage infrastructure, stormwater management systems, flood control improvements
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analysis, stormwater modeling, drainage calculations, and floodplain evaluations
• Design storm drainage systems, detention and retention facilities, channels, culverts, outfalls, and other stormwater infrastructure
• Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models to evaluate runoff, conveyance capacity, flood elevations, and drainage performance
• Prepare drainage reports, stormwater management plans, engineering calculations, and construction documents
• Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams
