Stillpoint AEC is partnering with a respected civil engineering firm to recruit a Civil Engineer specializing in water resources, stormwater, drainage design, and H&H analysis. The role offers project leadership across diverse infrastructure projects, with opportunities for hybrid or onsite work and PE licensure support.

Responsibilities include designing drainage systems, performing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in water resources, stormwater, drainage or hydrology within a consulting or AEC environment preferred.
• PE licensure preferred; EIT candidates considered.
• Experience with water resources modeling and design tools listed above.
• Familiarity with FEMA floodplain regulations and permitting.

Responsabilités

• Design and support water resources and stormwater projects including drainage infrastructure and flood control improvements.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and stormwater modeling.
• Design storm drainage systems, detention and retention facilities, channels, and culverts.
• Develop models to evaluate runoff, conveyance, flood elevations, and system performance.
• Conduct watershed analyses, floodplain delineation, and flood studies.
• Support FEMA floodplain studies and CLOMR/LOMR applications.
• Prepare drainage reports, stormwater management plans, and related documents.
• Support projects through feasibility, detailed design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
• Coordinate with municipalities, authorities, developers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Apply stormwater regulations and design standards; provide mentorship and guidance.
