Job summary

Coffman Engineers' Honolulu office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 5+ years' experience in water and wastewater resources to assist in planning and design of municipal civil infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid grounding in water systems and enjoy a collaborative team environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Water Resources) and Hawaii P.E. registration or ability to obtain within 6 months; experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent.
• Hawaii Civil Engineer (P.E.) registration required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with a water resources/municipal background.
• Experience collaborating with local AEC community.
• Experience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and other design software.
• Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills are required.
• The ability to work on multiple tasks independently and/or under the supervision of senior staff.
• Strong project management skills are required.
• Client management skills are required.
• Team player with the ability to think critically and solve problems.
• Experience with water resources planning and design is strongly preferred.
