Pape-Dawson Engineers in Fort Worth, TX is seeking graduates to join our engineering team for December 2026 and May 2027. The role supports design, analysis, and implementation of civil projects under a licensed P.E.

You will contribute to technical design, coordinate with project teams, and ensure compliance with project requirements while developing skills in water and wastewater systems, hydraulic modeling, and permitting processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related ABET-accredited program.
  • EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months from start date.
  • Internship with a civil design firm is beneficial; familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical reports, studies, and documentation using MS Office Suite.
  • Direct and review the work of engineering technicians to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative engineering solutions.
  • Water/Wastewater (W/WW): assist in planning and design of water distribution and wastewater systems, including hydraulic modeling.
  • Prepare governmental permitting packages, respond to requests for additional information, and maintain permitting logs for large-scale projects.
  • Provide design support for small wastewater treatment facilities and assist with contractor submittals, including reviews against specifications and maintaining submittal logs for ongoing construction projects.
