Qualifikationen

• Must have a minimum of 4 years experience working at a WRF.
• Must possess a Utah Wastewater Collections Operator IV Certification.
• Must possess a Utah Wastewater Treatment Grade I Certificate or obtain within one year of hire.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies as needed.
• Must have the ability to be on call for a minimum of one week per month.
• Knowledge of hazards and OSHA safety standards.
• Capable of communicating effectively and professionally.
• Ability to operate industrial machinery such as forklift, backhoe, wheel loader.

Aufgaben

• Monitor the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) and perform daily operation and maintenance.
• Perform maintenance of the city’s sanitary sewer collection system, lift stations, and pumps.
• Conduct CCTV inspections and map the collection system; inspect manholes and report conditions.
• Respond to sewer emergencies and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Assist in managing the confined space program and SSMP compliance.
• Support safety initiatives and preventive maintenance programs.
