WHAT WE PROVIDE: This is a seasonal position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

1. Practices, supports, maintains, and enforces a total safety culture.
2. Ensure that all pools are chemically balanced for operations according to codes and standards set by park management.
3. Ensure that the specifications set by ride manufacturers and the State of Texas are complied with and documented.
4. Making general repairs throughout the park as needed.
5. Conduct thorough pre-opening inspections of all pools and slide structures in the waterpark, notifying appropriate management of any and all hazards.
6. Maintain accurate inspection records, and keep all daily repair logs and journals current and accurate of maintenance performed.
7. Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment when required.
8. Ensure that all attractions are clean and visually in compliance with the manufacturer's specifications, and the expectations of our guests and management team.
9. Adhere to bio-hazardous waste disposal procedures and perform all related duties in compliance with Fecal Matter Exposure Policy.
10. Report all pertinent information to Maintenance Manager.
11. Performs all other duties as assigned or as necessary to support the Maintenance Department and Six Flags Fiesta Texas as a whole by the Maintenance Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

1. Minimum age of at least 18 years of age
2. Must possess a valid driver's license
3. Water Quality experience preferred, but not required
4. Knowledge of pumps, filters and related equipment helpful but not required
5. A strong sense of teamwork and a positive attitude
6. A clear commitment to total safety
7. Self-starter ability to anticipate and manage multiple projects of a varied priority through planning and preparation
8. High level of attention to detail
9. The availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
10. Must be available to work a minimum of 30+ hours
11. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
12. The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time outdoors in various weather conditions to include extreme heat and sun.
13. Must be able to troubleshoot clearly, calmly, and safely in the presence of guests, co-workers, and park management.

OTHER NOTES:

1. May perform other duties beyond the scope of above as necessary to support the park as a whole
2. Reports to Maintenance Leadership
