Job summary

LEGOLAND New York Resort is seeking a Water Quality Technician to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of pools and water rides across the park. You will monitor water chemistry, perform tests, document results, and coordinate with the Control Supervisor to keep attractions safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• Previous Water Quality technician experience is a must.
• Knowledge of maintenance, operation and upkeep of swimming pools.
• Working knowledge of swimming pool water chemistry and testing procedures.
• Knowledge of pool cleaning, disinfecting, algae control and removal.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operations, inspection and maintenance of pool facilities and water rides.
• Repair, inspect and troubleshoot equipment for safe operation.
• Test, sample and monitor water throughout the park.
• Backwash and maintain filtration systems; maintain pumps and piping.
