Job summary

LEGOLAND New York Resort is seeking a Water Quality Technician to ensure safe operations, inspect and maintain pool facilities and water rides, and troubleshoot equipment for optimal performance. The role requires monitoring water chemistry, keeping precise records, and coordinating with the Control Supervisor and third-party vendors to uphold high safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Previous Water Quality technician experience is a must.
• Knowledge of pool water chemistry and testing procedures.
• Experience with pool cleaning and disinfection.
• Understanding of facility maintenance and safety regulations.
• Good writing and math skills for documenting maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Keep Safety as #1 priority.
• Monitor water chemistry; make adjustments and record tests.
• Inspect hotel pools and water rides daily.
• Use Hexagon – EAM system to track work orders.
• Repair and maintain pumps and piping systems.
• Interact with supervisors, park staff, and guests.
• Perform general building maintenance as required.
