Job summary

SeaWorld is seeking a dedicated Water Quality/Maintenance technician to support our Water Quality Systems. This role involves hands-on maintenance of pumps, piping, sensors and chemical handling to ensure safe, clean water for park operations.

Ideal candidates have a background in water chemistry, maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license. Flexible availability, including nights and weekends, is required to meet park needs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of water chemistry and treatment ideal.
• Maintenance experience in a technical environment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and nights is required.
• CPO or AFO certification to be completed within 6 months of hire.
• 4+ years in water chemistry knowledge is preferred.
• 3–4 years in pumps, PVC installation, and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Change pumps, motors and piping for Water Quality Systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on Water Quality system sensors and materials.
• Make PVC and other piping repairs from ½” to 14”; install valves and devices.
• Move chemicals and supplies as required by the systems.
• Perform water chemistry tests and adjustments as needed.
• Fulfill other Water Quality and Park Services duties as required.
