Job summary

Sandcastle Inc. seeks an Aquatics Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, continuous operation of waterslides and pools. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, test water quality, and repair systems to support guest experience.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in maintenance or mechanics, 1–2 years in waterpark settings, and strong knowledge of pumps, motors, and water chemistry. Fluency in English is required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• 2+ years previous work experience in maintenance or mechanics highly desired.
• 1-2 years previous work experience at a waterpark, swimming pool, or other aquatics-related facility preferred.
• Language: fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-opening inspections of waterslides and pools for safety and performance issues.
• Maintain pools to be chemically balanced according to codes and standards.
• Respond to trouble calls, diagnose and fix mechanical issues.
• Perform repairs and scheduled maintenance per manufacturers’ specs.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC-related duties.
