Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is seeking a Water Quality Specialist to help homeowners understand their water and offer solutions that improve quality. You will test water, explain results, and recommend products to support healthier homes.

Qualifications

• Must have sales experience.
• Must be able to perform a plumbing inspection (training available).
• Ability to determine residential water quality needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
• Ability to interact and communicate well with customers in homes and businesses.
• Lift and maneuver up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, reach overhead, and work on ladders.
• Use of hand and power tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Understand residential plumbing operation, water quality, and basic plumbing repairs.
• Training to expand knowledge and areas of expertise will be provided with further certification expected.
• Communicate professionally with customers, office staff and coworkers.
• Be thorough in inspections and accurate in quoting replacements or repairs.
• Complete proposed work as quoted.
• Participate in on-call assignments and back-up as required.
• Attend all staff meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and friendly work environment.
• Work efficiently and follow company policies and procedures.
• Consistently sell equipment, accessories and other promotional material.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
