Job summary

South Staffordshire Water is seeking a Water Quality Customer Sampler for a field-based, lone-working role in the Walsall area. You will collect samples from treatment works and customer properties and perform on-site chlorine testing to ensure water quality and safety.

You will register samples, record results, and carry out quality checks in a strict process environment. Applicants should have GCSEs or equivalent and a valid UK driving licence; experience in a related field is desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence using computer-based systems for recording and managing data.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow strict processes.
• Proactive approach to lone working.
• Full, valid UK driving licence (company vehicle provided).
• GCSEs (or equivalent); experience in a related field is desirable.

Contract: Full Time | Permanent | 37 hours per week (plus 1 in 5 standby rota)

The Role:

With water quality a top priority, we are looking for a Water Quality Customer Sampler to join our team.

This is a lone working, field-based role operating in all weather conditions. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring the safety and quality of our water by collecting and analysing samples from across our network and customer properties.
