Job summary

The Maine Department of Environmental Protection is seeking an Environmental Engineer in Augusta to serve as the project manager for the Clean Water State Revolving Loan program. You will oversee all aspects of SRF loan processing, including grants and federal funds, and ensure compliance with department policies.

Responsibilities include reviewing applications, reviewing engineering plans, approving payments, and coordinating with licensing, enforcement, and technical staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, Sanitary, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering and four years of engineering experience.
  • Licensure as a Professional Engineer by the Maine State Board is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Clean Water SRF loan process, including reviewing funding applications and engineering plans.
  • Coordinate with EPA, Maine Municipal Bond Bank and other entities to implement program activities.

Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Sanitary, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
