Job summary

Rocky Mountain Water Quality Analysts Association seeks a Water Quality Services Manager in Loveland, CO to lead the city’s drinking water, wastewater, and source water quality programs. You will supervise program and laboratory managers and guide regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with state and federal regulators, oversee lab accreditation, and drive initiatives on emerging contaminants, source water protection, and long-range compliance planning.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in water quality, drinking water, wastewater, environmental compliance, or related municipal utility field.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience over technical/regulatory staff.
• Thorough knowledge of the Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to ensure regulatory compliance across drinking water, wastewater, and source water programs.
• Oversee laboratory accreditation and QA/QC programmatic reviews.
• Collaborate with state, federal, and regional partners on regulatory initiatives and compliance planning.
