Job summary

The City of Loveland is seeking a Water Quality Services Manager to provide strategic, regulatory, and operational leadership for drinking water, wastewater, and source water quality programs. You will supervise program and laboratory managers and coordinate with state, federal, and interagency partners to ensure compliance and protect public health.

The role involves overseeing regulatory initiatives, staying ahead of evolving water quality policy, and guiding long-term compliance planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Water Quality Services Group to ensure compliance with current and future state and federal regulations and to protect public and environmental health and safety.
• Manage regulatory compliance activities across drinking water, wastewater, and source water quality programs.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert on water quality policy and provide recommendations regarding emerging regulatory and legal requirements.
• Actively monitor upcoming legislation and applicable regulations and develop implementation plans for assigned program areas.
• Ensure timely preparation, review, and submission of required regulatory reports and related documentation.
