Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years of verifiable experience in environmental science, natural sciences, biological sciences, or environmental policy (or equivalent post-secondary degree on year-for-year basis)
• Skill in operating and trailering small powerboats
• Skilled in water quality sample collection techniques including wading, snorkeling, and traversing difficult terrain
• Knowledge of water quality field instruments and ESRI GIS software
• Ability to collect, evaluate, analyze, and interpret scientific or technical data
• Ability to carry 40 pounds while walking ten minutes over uneven terrain

• Conduct water quality sampling and biological assessments in freshwater and estuarine ecosystems
