Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a Senior Associate, Water Quality Compliance to support drinking water and wastewater compliance programs at assigned facilities. You will collect data, assist with action plans, and collaborate with site operations to ensure regulatory adherence and continuous improvement.

The role involves data management, KPI tracking, and participation in regulatory audits, with up to 25% travel to facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
0-5 years of experience in environmental compliance, preferably in the water industry.
Experience with regulatory inspections and audits.
Experience with SAAS software.
Experience with environmental compliance software (e.g., Intelex, Envirosuite, AQI WIMS/LabCal) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support compliance strategy and action plans for drinking water and wastewater systems.
Assist in implementing site practices aligned with regulatory frameworks.
Help develop and maintain facility-specific compliance procedures.
Support risk assessments and corrective actions under supervision.
Assist with data management and KPI reporting for compliance performance.
Collaborate with site operations to share best practices and standardize reporting.
