Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, chemistry, forensic chemistry, forensic toxicology, physical chemistry, inorganic or organic chemistry, physics or materials science.
• OR bachelor's degree with 34 semester hours minimum in toxicology, chemistry, or biochemistry.
• One year of training level experience in analytical chemistry testing.
• Transcripts and licenses/certifications must be submitted with the application.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical chemistry testing on liquids, solids, and gases to yield qualitative and quantitative results.
• Participate in training and gain independence in carrying out tasks and troubleshooting.
• Work under supervision of a higher-level chemist or engineer and handle potentially hazardous unknown substances.
