Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree with major coursework in a qualifying field.

• Experience leading scientific research projects and coordinating work with staff.
• Procuring grant funding and providing technical guidance and supervision.
• Ability to develop and implement programs and policies for the department.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, maintain and evaluate environmental programs aligned with department goals.
• Provide technical guidance and supervise staff on a project basis.
• Coordinate with scientists, engineers, planners, city officials and regulators to accomplish objectives.
• Represent the department at local, regional and national levels.
