Job summary

Cleanwater1, Inc. and its Velocity Dynamics subsidiary are seeking a Manager of Projects in Grain Valley, Missouri to lead the Project Management function and provide technical engineering oversight for water and wastewater treatment projects.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 7+ years in project engineering or management, and 3+ years of leadership. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with internal groups, and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of project engineering/management experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Project, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to interpret mechanical, process, electrical, and construction drawings.
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day activities of the Project Management team to ensure high-quality execution.
• Provide planning, management, quality control, and budget oversight of projects.
• Prepare technical submittals, project materials, and plans with customers and partners.
• Review drawings and contract requirements to ensure scope accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee submittals, bills of material, equipment selection, and O&M manuals.
• Coordinate with Applications Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Service teams.
• Manage project risks, schedules, resources, and customer communications.
• Lead the company’s largest projects and mentor direct reporting staff.
