HDR’s Water Business Group is seeking success‑oriented Project Engineers to work on a wide variety of water and wastewater projects. You will lead portions of design work, prepare calculations and reports, and collaborate with project managers and cross‑disciplinary teams across multiple offices to keep projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license is required.
• Ability to make independent decisions and be accountable for the results.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with a project team.
• Active participation in our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead projects related to water, wastewater, and/or water resource management.
• Prepare design calculations, cost estimates, technical reports, and engineering plans and specifications with precision and creativity.
• Accumulate and analyze data, presenting findings in professional reports, memos, and presentations for internal and client use.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and multi-disciplinary teams across offices to keep projects on track and aligned.
