Job summary

HDR is seeking a Project Engineer focused on water and wastewater projects. You’ll design calculations, prepare reports, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams across offices to deliver high-impact solutions for communities.

As an employee-owned firm, HDR values independence, accountability and collaboration. A PE license and a Civil Engineering degree are required, with experience in water-focused projects and the ability to work autonomously and with project managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience performing water-focused studies, analyses, and design.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license required.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead water/wastewater projects from design through delivery.
• Prepare design calculations, cost estimates, reports and specifications.
• Analyze data and present findings in professional memos and presentations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and multi-disciplinary teams across offices.
• Assist with permitting and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate project activities to keep deliverables on track.
