Job summary

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning environmental engineering firm, seeks a Project Engineer to join our Water Group. You will plan, design, and administer construction for drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects while supporting Lead Project Engineers and the team.

The role includes hydraulic design, master planning, and reporting. Travel to sites is required; 3–5 years of water project experience and a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering are

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of engineering experience on water projects.
  • Familiarity with local, state and federal regulatory and funding processes.
  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) is required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and GIS is a plus.

  • Support Lead Project Engineers and team members.
  • Perform hydraulic design for pump and piping systems.

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Water Group. This role is involved with planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects.

Salary range is $78,000 - $125,000/yr.

NOTE: Final salary is based on education, experience, certifications, and location.

Responsibilities
  • Planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects
  • Provide support to Lead Project Engineers and other team members
  • Hydraulic design for pump and piping systems
  • Master planning, asset management
  • Writing technical reports, memos, communications
  • Working on pilot studies as assigned
  • Travel to sites; field work visits for projects in various phases
