The operator coordinates actions during emergencies and serves customers after hours and on weekends. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; no experience is required, though one year or more experience

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a drinking water plant and auxiliary facilities safely and efficiently.
• Work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and nights; may be on-call or standby.
• Make decisions about machinery and equipment based on instrument readings.
• Direct actions during emergencies and serve as a contact for internal and external customers after hours and on weekends.
