Job summary

iMold Cleaning and Restoration is seeking an experienced Restoration Technician - Mold/Water to join our fast growing team in SW Florida. You will respond to water damage and mold removal needs, lead projects, and mentor apprentices while delivering high-quality service to homeowners and businesses.

The role requires strong communication, hands-on restoration skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; IICRC certifications are a plus.
• Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction; mold/water restoration preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and manage apprentices to lead technician level.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; willing to undergo background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Excellent communication with customers and team; act as brand ambassador.
• Follow project scopes and provide guidance from Production Team.
• Inventory and load vehicle with equipment and supplies.
• Manage others and coach apprentices toward Lead Technician.
• Perform dry-down with dehumidifiers, desiccants, and water extractors.
• Use mold remediation equipment such as HEPA filters and air scrubbers.
• Maintain organized vehicles and equipment; document work with photos and reports.
• Prepare cost proposals for additional scope; travel to local sites as needed.
