Job summary

iMold Cleaning and Restoration is seeking an experienced Property Damage Restoration Technician Apprentice focused on mold, water, and fire-related restoration. You will respond to water damage and mold removal needs, lead apprentices toward Lead Technician roles, and ensure high-quality service while working overtime to support emergencies.

Ideal candidates bring exposure to restoration or construction, strong communication, and a willingness to be a brand ambassador in SW Florida.

Qualifications

• Interest in serving communities and being a hero to your neighbors.
• Experience in cleaning, restoration, construction industry.
• Experience leading water damage mitigation jobs (dry out, demo, stabilization, monitoring).
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, others) are a plus.
• Experience serving both residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Excellent communication skills (We are a "communication company" that specializing in restoration!)
• Follow project scopes and guidance from our Production Team on assignments
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
• Ability to manage others, provide coaching and develop Apprentices into Lead Technicians
• Perform dry-down procedures using appropriate equipment (dehumidifiers, desiccants, water extractors)
• Use appropriate equipment for mold remediation (HEPA filters, air scrubbers, negative air machines)
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and equipment
• Recognize potential mold to properly contain it
• Knowledge of hand tools and construction
• Review data reports and write project technical and summary reports
• Document with photos, notes, and customer input
• Prepare cost proposals/estimates for additional scope
• Multi-task in dynamic environment
• Support business development activities as needed
• Serve as a brand ambassador
• Deliver 5-star service to homeowners and obtain reviews
