Job summary

Dry Force in Houston, TX is seeking Water Mitigation Technicians to assist with water damage and restoration tasks. You will set up drying equipment, monitor progress, and help restore properties following water, flood, or storm events.

No extensive industry experience is required; we provide training, coaching and advancement opportunities. You will be the first face for customers, so professionalism and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds regularly.
• IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water damage and emergency mitigation projects.
• Extract water and remove damaged, non-salvageable materials as directed.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Document drying progress using a company-provided mobile device.
• Perform moisture readings and follow restoration protocols.
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and management.

Skills

Customer service experience

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Able to lift 50+ pounds

Education
