Paces Restoration, An American Restoration Brand, seeks a Water Mitigation Technician to respond to water damage emergencies, perform mitigation and restoration tasks, and protect property. This field-based role requires traveling to residential and commercial sites, proper documentation, and adherence to safety procedures and industry standards.

Responsibilities include water extraction, drying, debris removal, and coordinating with customers and management.

Qualifications

• Previous water mitigation or restoration experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass required background, drug, and employment screenings.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move heavy equipment and household contents.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Professional communication and customer-service skills.

Responsabilités

• Respond to residential and commercial water damage losses.
• Inspect affected areas and identify the source and extent of water damage.
• Perform water extraction, demolition, cleaning, and drying activities.
• Set up, monitor, and remove air movers, dehumidifiers, and other drying equipment.
• Take moisture readings and document drying progress.
• Remove and dispose of damaged materials as directed.
• Photograph and document job-site conditions and completed work.
• Maintain accurate job notes, equipment records, moisture maps, and daily documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers, property owners, adjusters, and management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Load, unload, clean, and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Follow OSHA, company safety procedures, and applicable restoration industry standards.
• Assist with mold remediation, fire/smoke cleanup, and other restoration services as needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency losses when scheduled.
