Education and Certification:

Preferred industry certifications include IICRC Certified Water Restoration Technician, IICRC Fire Restoration Technician, IICRC Certified Mold Remediation Technician, and Council Certified Structural Drying Remediator/Supervisor (CSDR/CSDS). These are a plus; if not certified, training and certification will be provided.

Remediation Technician – Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to water mitigation, sewage backups, flooding, fire board-ups, and demolition jobs daily.
• Train on water extraction and equipment operation.
• Set up and operate drying equipment.
• Report to the Project Supervisor at the start of each shift for assignments and complete tasks as directed.
• Preserve structural items and contents according to instructions.
• Report equipment and material needs to the Project Supervisor to ensure proper and timely completion.
• Direct laborers in restoration protocols, demonstrating communication skills and experience.
• Maintain personnel documentation, hours, and work performed during shifts.
• Practice and promote safety on the job site.
• Participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours and weekend work.
