Job summary

Paul Davis Restoration seeks a Mitigation Manager to lead a team of technicians in disaster-restoration work across residential and commercial sites. The role prioritizes empathy, clear communication, and strong organizational discipline to deliver high-quality repairs during challenging times.

The manager will drive safety, compliance, and customer care while coordinating crews, scheduling, equipment, and materials to meet defined targets and maintain brand integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead mitigation crews performing water mitigation, tarping, board up, mold remediation, environmental services, and carpet cleaning/removal.
• Direct daily team huddles to ensure crews are prepared with clear priorities, equipment, and resources.
• Meet with clients and adjusters on-site to resolve issues and provide professional guidance.
• Re-inspect job sites for quality control and ensure compliance with Paul Davis and industry specifications.
• Deliver excellent customer service with empathy, urgency, and professionalism.
• Foster collaboration across departments and support other team members as needed.
• Ensure clean, organized, and properly stocked trucks and equipment are maintained at all times.
• Be accessible by phone and participate in the on-call schedule as required.
• Represent the Paul Davis brand with professionalism, integrity, and leadership.

The Mitigation Manager leads a team of technicians restoring homes and businesses after disasters such as floods and fires. The ideal candidate is socially inclined, a strong communicator, detailed, quick, motivational, and highly organized. This role requires strong leadership, the ability to manage consistent change, and the skills to inspire teams to deliver high-quality work. Successful managers combine empathy and reliability with strong organizational discipline, ensuring customers receive extraordinary care during their time of need.

OUTCOMES

• Lead mitigation team to meet or exceed NPS (>70) and Scorecard (>73) compliance targets.
• Ensure jobs are completed on time, within budget, and meet Paul Davis and industry standards - compliance >90%.
• Coordinate team performance to achieve profitability goals.
