Qualifications

• Previous experience in water mitigation, restoration, construction, demolition, plumbing, HVAC, or another skilled trade is preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical labor throughout the day.
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residential and commercial water damage emergencies.
• Extract standing water using specialized equipment.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Remove damaged building materials when necessary.
• Perform demolition and cleanup while protecting unaffected areas of the property.
• Document job progress with photos, moisture readings, and daily reports.
• Monitor drying progress and adjust equipment as needed.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and office staff.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and job sites in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow all company safety procedures, IICRC standards, and industry best practices.
