Job summary

Bermex, Inc. is seeking a Water Meter Installer in Houston, TX to support water meter maintenance, AMI/AMR upgrades, and field data collection. This role involves extensive walking outdoors and coordinating with customers.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently with strong time management and communication skills. Training is provided and a company vehicle is available for drivers.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; must be 18+ years old
• Experience: 1 year with same employer or 6+ months with training; valid driver’s license required
• Must be able to work outdoors and walk long distances

Responsibilities

• Water Meter Maintenance: inspect for leaks, identify hazards, replace meters and registers for AMI/AMR upgrades
• Water Meter Reading: read meters and enter data in handheld devices
• Customer Communication: relay information and assist with inquiries; refer complaints as needed
• Other duties as assigned
