Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older; education none required but HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to be trained for meter and registers handling.
• Know-how to operate basic handheld devices and data entry tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of water service for leaks.
• Identify hazards at meter sites and report accordingly.
• Change out water meters of varying sizes and brands.
• Change out water meter registers for AMI/AMR upgrades.
• Read water meters and enter data into handheld devices.
• Assist on additional projects as needed.
• Refer consumer complaints to the appropriate authorities and provide information to customers.
