Job summary

Phigenics in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Full-Time Water Management Engineer to join the field services team. You will report to the Director of Field Services and support clients by taking water tests, maintaining equipment, and helping manage Comprehensive Water Management Programs.

As you gain training, you may mentor peers and occasionally provide on-site readings and sample collection. Travel is regional with occasional overnight stays and mileage reimbursement.

Full-Time Water Management Engineer

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Phigenics is seeking a candidate for a full-time position as the Water Management Engineer (WME) who will report to the Director of Field Services and provide service and account management support for clients in a region. Water Management Engineer services existing clients by taking water tests, maintaining equipment, and assisting in maintaining Comprehensive Water Management Programs by analyzing microbiological and water chemistry data and responding quickly, professionally, and accurately to client requests. WMETs may be asked to perform minor maintenance on water monitoring equipment, take on-site readings via testing instruments (i.e., chlorine, temperature, and pH readings), and collect building water samples to be sent to a lab for cultures. Once fully trained, the employee may be expected to mentor or train peers to ensure consistent knowledge sharing and team development. Candidates must live near Milwaukee, WI.

Work Environment / Travel

Position requires traveling to client sites in a region, servicing equipment, and collecting water samples. Some overnight travel will be involved. Occasional travel up to a 350-mile radius is expected. Mileage reimbursement is available. The wearing of PPE is sometimes required. The position often requires a great deal of walking around client sites, may include climbing stairs or ladders, and may require lifting up to 25 pounds. May provide occasional support in other regions.
