Job summary

The Lincoln Electric Company is seeking a capable Water Jet Programmer/Operator to perform machine set-up and operation for cutting materials per programmed instructions at our Macomb - Mile location.

You will fixture and run high-pressure waterjet equipment, manage crane-assisted material handling, follow safety procedures, and document job progress across shifts. Prior experience with water jet programming and machine tool basics is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent; machine tool tech cert preferred.
• Prior water jet programmer/operator experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, fixture, clamp and operate water jet machine as per program.
• Lift or move materials using cranes/hi-lo.
• Set up jobs according to the given schedule.
• Conduct equipment checks and report needed repairs.
• Maintain safety by following procedures and regulations.
• Document actions across shifts and communicate needs.
