Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a Water Jet Programmer/Operator for its Macomb - Mile location. The role involves setting up and operating high pressure water jet machinery to cut parts per provided programs, with lifting of materials using overhead cranes as needed.

Job Responsibilities
Primary Function

Perform machine set-up and operation for cutting materials per given programs

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up, fixture, clamp and operate high pressure abrasive water jet machine to cut details and parts to a provided program.
  • Lift or move materials and finished products using overhead cranes / hi-lo
  • Set up assigned jobs according to the given schedule.
  • Conduct equipment checks and notify management and/or maintenance for needed repairs.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Education And Experience
  • High school diploma/GED, certificate in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent work experience
  • Previous experience as Water Jet Programmer/Operator
  • Must possess solid troubleshooting and communication skills.
