Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer seeks a Resident Project Representative (RPR) to support construction management and inspection of water and wastewater facilities in the Ashburn/Fairfax area. The role leads a team of engineers and inspectors under the Lead RPR, coordinating with contractors, design engineers, and owners to ensure contract compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
Minimum of 8 years relevant construction management/inspection or design experience in water/wastewater.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn PROCORE, Bluebeam, and related software.

Responsibilities

Review project specifications and drawings.
Provide document control.
Assist in processing RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
Prepare agendas and document meetings.
Coordinate communication among contractor, design engineer, stakeholders, and owner.
Perform field inspections for compliance with contract documents.
Prepare sketches and data for design engineers use.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
Utilize PROCORE for project documentation.
Support other construction management activities as needed.
