Job summary

Orange County Government in Orlando seeks a Project Manager for the Water Reclamation Division to oversee data management for four regional facilities, trend effluent quality and flow, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with contractors during construction projects. The role also supports operation and maintenance budgets and process optimization.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Engineering or related field with several years’ experience; Florida licensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Engineering or related field with five years of experience in treatment plant operations, construction, or supervisory management.
• Experience in project planning, proposals, cost estimates and budgets including expenditure monitoring.
• Professional licensure or eligibility may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from planning to completion using existing workforce, equipment, and contractors.
• Monitor and report on project progress, safety, and budget adherence.
• Coordinate with contractors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and optimal treatment processes.
• Support operation and maintenance budget preparation and monitor expenditures.
