Job summary

HDR is seeking a Drinking Water Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams in developing facility planning documents, process design, and cost estimates for water treatment upgrades in the Iowa and Nebraska area. You will manage contracts during construction, support marketing, and build client relations while guiding staff engineers and CAD/BIM technicians to meet deadlines and budgets.

Preferred candidates will have 7 years of municipal water experience, a PE license, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and PE license are required.
• 7 years related experience in municipal water planning, design and PM.
• 2+ years project management experience.
• MS Office and MS Project proficiency required; Access is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead multidisciplinary teams to develop facility planning documents, process design, detailed designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water treatment plant upgrades.
• Lead administration of construction contracts and coordinate with clients primarily in Iowa and Nebraska; expand HDR drinking water portfolio.
• Coordinate with staff engineers and CAD/BIM technicians to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
• Work directly with facility owners, establish design methods, and support marketing and client development.
