Job summary

AECOM is seeking a motivated Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our Water, Wastewater, and Conveyance team in Columbus, OH. You will contribute to planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure across North America.

The role offers exposure to water transmission, pumping stations, treatment facilities, and network optimization, with opportunities to grow technical expertise and leadership within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

BS/BA in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering, with 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Preferred: BS/BA with 8+ years of relevant experience and/or PE licensure.

Responsibilities

Prepare engineering designs, calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents for municipal water and wastewater projects.
Support planning, design, and rehabilitation of water distribution and wastewater systems.
Perform hydraulic calculations and system evaluations for water and wastewater networks.
Develop drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and assist with cost estimates and reports.
Participate in field investigations, permits, and construction support.
