Job summary

C Caliagua, Inc., an Azuria Water Solutions company, is seeking an Estimator to prepare complete, accurate, and competitive estimates for public works and water infrastructure projects in Southern California. You will develop quantity takeoffs, build cost estimates, and support bid strategy through constructability input and subcontractor pricing.

Responsibilities include reviewing specs and drawings, coordinating with owners and subcontractors, and leading bid package development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a civil/mechanical engineering or related field.
• Strong estimating and quantity takeoff experience in water infrastructure projects.
• Experience with bid preparation and subcontractor pricing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-focused.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate full project estimates for hard-bid and design-build pursuits.
• Review specifications, drawings and contracts; attend pre-bid meetings and site walks.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and detailed material takeoffs; build estimates in WinEstimator.
• Prepare subcontractor and vendor bid analyses; coordinate bid package breakdowns.
• Communicate estimate/bid information to field operations and management; support bid strategy.
