Synergy Companies in Southern California is seeking a Water Heater Technician Apprentice to join our field team. You will learn to install water heaters at low or no cost for our utility customers and gain hands-on experience in plumbing and electrical work.

Candidates with a can-do attitude who can follow instructions, lift equipment, and deliver friendly customer service will thrive. Paid training provided, year-round work, teamwork.

Qualifications

• Pass drug and background screening.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to work with hand tools and basic power tools.
• Customer-focused with good communication.
• Problem-solving and basic computer familiarity.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow instructions and attend meetings.
• Be responsible for company equipment and vehicle.
• Provide top-quality customer service.
• Sell additional upgrades to customers when appropriate.
• Physically able to lift and move equipment.
• Be on time for scheduled appointments.
• Work with hands and perform installs as directed.

Synergy Companies is looking for a Water Heater Technician Apprentice to join our team. Synergy Companies works with Southern California utility companies to install water heaters at low or even no cost for our customers. Candidates with experience in plumbing and electric work are preferred but not required. We are looking for motivated people who enjoy working with their hands. Individuals who are able to problem solve and think for themselves are a great fit for this position. This position will include steady, year-round employment.

Duties/Expectations:

• Willing to learn and follow instructions
• Attend company meetings as required
• Be responsible for company equipment and vehicle
• Provide top-quality customer service
• Be comfortable with selling additional upgrades to the customer
