Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor who will provide safe, engaging group and water exercise classes aligned with ACSM/ACE/AFAA guidelines. You will design and deliver programs suitable for all fitness and skill levels, fostering motivation and helping members achieve health goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Studies required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Group Exercise certification: ACE, ACSM, AFAA, or NDEITA.
• Cycling Exercise certification: Mad Dogg, Fitour, or equivalent.
• Water Exercise certification: ARC, A-PAI, AEA, Arthritis Foundation, or WSI.
• Yoga, Pilates or Barre certification.
• Martial arts/Boxing based class certification or equivalent - required.
• Fitness Certification: ACE, AFAA, ACMS, NASM, ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe group exercise instruction that contributes to members' health and fitness goals.
• Develop and instruct group exercise classes for all fitness and skill levels.
• Adhere to industry guidelines established by ACSM, ACE or AFAA.
