SERVPRO of Annapolis/Severna Park is hiring Restoration Technicians for our water, fire, and mold restoration team in Arnold, MD. This is a hands-on role with paid training and no prior restoration experience required.

You will respond to damage jobs, extract water, perform demolition, and operate drying equipment. We offer overtime, health benefits, and advancement opportunities as you gain experience and responsibility.

Water & Fire Restoration Technician

Location: Arnold, MD

Pay: $20–$26/hour + overtime

Full-Time | Paid Training

SERVPRO is hiring Restoration Technicians for our water, fire and mold restoration team.

No restoration experience is required. We will train the right person.

This is a hands-on job working in homes and businesses after water damage, fires, mold and other property losses. Our technicians handle everything from water extraction and drying to demolition and removal of damaged building materials.

If you have experience in construction, demolition, maintenance, landscaping, moving, warehouse work or another hands-on job, that experience can translate well. If you don't have experience but you're dependable, willing to work and want to learn a trade, we still want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

• Respond to water, fire and mold damage jobs
• Extract standing water
• Perform demolition and remove damaged drywall, flooring, insulation, cabinets and other building materials
• Set up air movers, dehumidifiers and other drying equipment
• Take moisture readings and monitor the drying process
• Set up containment and protection when needed
• Clean and treat affected areas
• Assist with fire and smoke damage cleanup
• Move furniture and contents when necessary
• Take photos and document work performed
• Load, unload and maintain equipment
• Keep trucks, equipment and job sites clean and organized
• Work alongside experienced Crew Chiefs and Project Managers

Every job is different, and you'll be trained on the equipment, procedures and documentation we use.

What We're Looking For

You do not need restoration experience.

We're looking for people who:

• Show up on time and are dependable
• Are willing to work and learn
• Are comfortable with physical work and demolition
• Don't mind getting dirty
• Can work well as part of a crew
• Can communicate professionally with customers
• Have a valid driver's license
• Are comfortable working in homes, businesses, basements, crawl spaces and other job-site environments
• Can lift 50+ pounds

Construction, demolition, maintenance, cleaning, water damage or restoration experience is a plus.

IICRC certification is a plus, but not required.

Opportunity to Grow

This can be an entry-level position, but there is a real path to move up.

Technicians who learn the work, become dependable in the field and can take on more responsibility have the opportunity to advance into Crew Chief and other leadership positions.

Restoration is emergency work, so there will be occasional after-hours and weekend work. Overtime is paid.
