You will observe construction, assist with data gathering, reports, and client coordination under supervision, while developing technical skills and professional judgment in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a civil engineering program.
• Completed at least one semester toward a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Ability to travel as required.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction observation and site reports on water related projects
• Develop skills in report preparation, design, construction, and client management
• Work alongside professional surveyors to assist with data gathering for designs or perform construction staking
• Assist Project Managers in the design and construction of civil-engineering related project such as pipelines, water storage tanks, pump stations, treatment systems, rural water, and municipal facilities
