Job summary

Garver’s Water Team in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Water Engineering Intern to gain real-world design experience in a fast-paced, professional setting. You will work with a team of experienced engineers on community water projects and visit Garver project sites to understand the full project lifecycle.

You will receive mentorship, hands-on training, and exposure to the consulting engineering industry, as you contribute to meaningful water solutions and develop your professional skills within

Qualifications

• Candidates must be pursuing a civil, environmental, or biological/biosystems engineering bachelor’s degree in an ABET accredited program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside and be mentored by experienced water professionals and industry leaders.
• Gain real-world environmental and civil engineering experience through assisting with water projects.
• Receive training from our experienced water staff and project managers.
• Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry.
• Visit Garver’s Water project sites.
