Job summary

HDR invites students to join our Water Business Group as a Water Intern for Summer 2027 in Dallas, TX. You will participate in real-world engineering projects and gain mentorship from company leaders while applying standard techniques under supervision.

We seek candidates currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program with strong problem-solving and communication skills, GPA 3.0+, and familiarity with common software tools.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Preference for Civil, Environmental, or Biological & Agricultural Engineering Degrees.
• GPA 3.0+ and 2 years completed toward degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in real-world experience on exciting projects.
• Connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring programs.
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Perform assignments under direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
• Perform other duties as needed.
