Job summary

Tighe & Bond is seeking a Water Engineering Intern for the Westfield, MA office to contribute to vital infrastructure projects across the Northeast. You will work with a team of experts on water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, gaining exposure to planning, design, and construction activities in a supportive, hybrid environment.

You will develop skills in data collection, analysis, and engineering calculations while collaborating on capital improvement planning and asset management

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing a degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
• Previous and relevant internship experience
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems
• Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with data collection, analysis, and documentation for our various types of water, wastewater and stormwater projects
• Perform engineering calculations to support our projects
• Assist staff on a variety of tasks with various study, design and construction projects and/or field assignments
• Participate in Tighe & Bond’s annual Intern Day activities
